Will Smith could be the American cop, and Liam Neeson could be the Russian police officer. It would work.

Liam Neeson is too old to play a cop from Russia. Literally would rather see a sequel with Arnie and Belushi then a remake. And personally I wouldn't like to see that either.

Funny you say that, Mark. My favorite Liam Neeson role was Schindler's List. I don't really care for his action films. Frankly I like Will Smith but I don't want to see this remade either.
