I've noticed that there were some really great action movies made in the mid-late 80s like Aliens, Die Hard, Predator, Robocop, and Lethal Weapon. I'd say
1. Die Hard
2. Aliens
3. Predator
4. Lethal Weapon
5. Robocop

Funny enough I was curious to know what Siskel and Ebert thought of all these and Ebert didn't like Die Hard and liked Aliens but wasn't a huge fan of it. Siskel didn't like Aliens or Predator. Pretty surprising to me.

We really need to add Rambo to this discussion. More dead bodies than any other movie.

This list matches mine. Closest is Predator and Lethal Weapon.

Die Hard and Aliens are interchangeable for me. I´ve lost count of how many times I´ve seen Die Hard. Both great movies, maybe Aliens is slightly more rewatchable so maybe it gets the nod.

5. Robocop. For some reason never got into Robocop even tho I know alot of people like it.
