Why was the original film crew so evil?

They went to the Amazon to make a documentary about indigenous tribes, but instead of doing just that they decided to rape their women.

Lol, wtf? What made them turn evil all of a sudden?

reply

They were always evil and they didn't see the natives as human. They wouldn't behave that way in American society because A) They would be arrested and B) They saw those people as human. When they were out in the wild they just showed who they really were, people like that may be among us.

But then in this film, in the absence of law, they STILL did not get away with it but unlike having a police arrest, they were brutally killed in vengeance instead.

Plus, how did they know or think they know that they would get away with it like that?

reply

They probably figured that since they have guns the cannibals wouldn’t stand a chance against them.

reply

Maybe those cannibals got USED to weapons somehow and maybe they were tough enough to outrun them etc etc etc.

reply

It’s a sleazy Italian horror movie. That sort of thing just happened.

reply

I wonder who the real cannibals are.

reply

Professor Monroe? Is that you?

reply

I assumed the "real" cannibals were the other tribe (forget their name right now), who the white crew scared off with gunshots when there was about to be a battle between tribes.
