I don't get how you or anyone could think she was in the right at all. In the first group meeting we see she allows everyone to fight and argue with each other which accomplishes nothing. Not to mention she had no business bringing up Harding's problems with his wife in front of so many people. She intentionally has McMurphy stay there when it's pointed out by the doctor that he isn't mentally ill. Then when he causes more problems she intentionally causes the death of Billy just to get back at him. Then lobotomizes him instead of just sending him back to prison. Heck, the whole point of both the book and the movie is that mental health professionals were horrible in the 60s and before. Electro shock therapy for instance never helped anyone.
