Now THAT is how you make a great shark film.
Don't get me wrong, Jaws is a classic but The Meg topped it in all areas: better cast of characters who are just as relatable, better action, more casualties helping setup the shark as a more villainous entity than on Jaws and of course a far more badass shark that is bigger, stronger and meaner.

They probably could have made some pretty awesome flicks based off the books but instead they chose to make a big budget Asylum/SyFy movie.

shareNo shark movie ever made has been better then Jaws and there will probably never be one. Sharknado was better then The Meg and thats not saying much.
