Try saying you saw this movie at work.

Try saying you saw this movie at work and your butt will be out the door faster than a jack rabbit.

reply

Why would I say I saw it at work to begin with unless I want to offend someone?

reply

I'm not saying you SHOULD say you saw this movie at work, I was just having fun with the offensive title.

Just like a few years ago, there was a documentary released titled "F-" about the origins of the F-word.

Ok, I'm going to play along with this dumb thread: How is Trump Racist exactly when your own President in Joe Biden told Black America they're not black unless they vote for him?? Well?? Who the Fuck is the racist one here?? I can see this thread hasn't aged worth a fuck at all..

reply

They are both racists. You do realize that more than one person can be racist at the same time right?

reply

Vague, unproven criticisms of Trump as "racist" and "white supremacist" are funny since he was never branded as either BEFORE he entered politics and ran against the Dems. Demonizing (slandering) opponents as "racist" (without any proof) is such an overplayed tactic in the Dem/Lib playbook that no one takes the term serious anymore.

reply

The weak-minded are easily manipulated.

reply

He absolutely was branded a racist before he entered politics and ran against the Democrats.

You don't know about his involvement with the Central Park Five?! https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/feb/17/central-park-five-donald-trump-jogger-rape-case-new-york

Way back in 1973 Trump had refused to rent to Black tenants and lied to Black applicants about whether apartments were available and was sued for violating the fair housing act.

He was also quoted as saying that laziness is a trait in blacks, when asked about it in a playboy interview he acknowledged that he said it.

reply

Ridiculous. He had one of most popular television shows in the country at the time. There was no discussion of Trump being a racist before he decided to run for president. And as usual, liberals get facts wrong to try to make something that never happened and try to make it a fact. Trump never made that comment in a playboy interview about it, and he never made that statement at all. Rosie O'Donnell claims he said, which basically means it's a lie, considering there were no witnesses to corroborate.

reply

Funny how you label Trump Racist, yet, the black community seems more then willing to vote for him.. Now why is that, especially for someone you label Racist?? Wouldn't the black community be outraged by this because they're not?? 🙄

reply

You think that the black community likes him?

reply

Sure, many can be, but I've yet to see evidence that Trump is.

reply

Not taking into account that my boss is black, I told her about this today when she asked if I’d seen any good movies lately. Now I’m back to manning the French fry station. Ugh…and after I worked so hard to get promoted to lead broiler on the Whopper machine. Life sucks.

reply

No one would believe it because I never watch any movies at work.

reply

Yeah. The only people who can honestly say they watched this at work are the people who made it, people who were employed as ushers back in 1975 at the grindhouse cinemas it played at and maybe some video store clerks in the 80s-90s.

reply

I saw it at a theater a few years back, so I suppose all the employees that night can say they saw it at work.

reply

Wow! Was there any reaction about the title in the local papers? As you did not mention any protesters, I assume the theater was either not in the USA or you saw it pre-2016.

reply

It was the day after Christmas in Los Angeles. Packed theater, no one gave a shit, or if they did they didn't show it. The whole theater had a blast. It was part of a triple feature with Blazing Saddles and Django Unchained.

reply

Sounds like a fun time! Was it an event with people connected to the films speaking, or just a good old fashioned triple bill?

reply

Just those movies, no talks. I think the overarching theme is that Boss Nigger and Blazing Saddles were two films that influenced Tarantino when he made Django Unchained, but there was no lecture or notes or anything.

reply

I think whoever approved showing it in the workplace would be in more trouble than you would for being a whistleblower.

reply

Well, the recent Boeing incident shows us what happens to whistleblowers.
