He could've drove off his truck with Sally after he pulled her in.

He made me laugh though 

I actually thought it was awesome the Truck Driver was able to take on Leatherface that way. I just watched this yesterday for the first time. Never saw the others except for the remake but barely remember it. I really was disturbed by some of it though. I wonder what made Leatherface, his father, and his brother so messed up. I might should see the sequels to see if they go more into his backstory.

The ending is definitely one of my favorite moments in all of horror history. She’s escapes in the back of that old Chevy and she’s safe but you can tell she’s never going to be the same mentality.

When he throws the wrench at Leatherface's face and it makes that goofy sound effect. What was Tobe Hooper thinking with that one? That seemed more comical. You could've put a laugh track there.

i feel like Leatherface was already at the truck's side.. so they probably thought he would chainsaw the cabin?
