Im assuming some eastern Europeon country that avoided the Soviet block.
It looked awfully gloomy and cold.
First thing I WOULD do with that factory, if I got it, is move it.

It's a fantasy amalgamation of the US and UK.

It was filmed in Germany, mostly in Munich. The final scene shows the town of Nördlingen in Bavaria.

As a child I didn't even pay attention. But as an adult, I was like 'what is this, Germany?'

And the faces look strangely European. Then they throw in English comedians and American children. It's all over the place.
