It's from "Batman the Animated Series," Season One, the episode called "Christmas with the Joker." Joker sang the song before escaping Arkham on a rocket he'd hidden inside of the Christmas tree they had brought into the asylum for the inmates to decorate.

shareFunny, I didn't know it was around in the 70s. I figured it was something my generation made up. Though mostly because my Aunts and Uncles would get offended if I sang it. They seemed to think it was bad. Which also made me think it was something just of my generation.
