Unless you count Barrie Chase, the girl dancer who was Fred Astaire's partner, now 88. Also Edwin Butterworth in makeup is 91. And Adell Aldrich (Robert's daugher) was script continuity, age 78.
Anyway this was one of my all time favorite films.

It was a good TV movie in the days of TV when I was searching from channel to channel desperate for something to watch. This was entertaining and good. But it was a bunch of guys puttering around with an airplane ??? I never understood why that would appeal to someone to the extent that it would be an all time favorite. I am not saying you are wrong, or even disagreeing that it was a good movie, but there is just not a lot going on.

In a way it kind of reminds me of the Carpenter remake of "The Thing" which I have the same criticism of ... a bunch of guys who cares about trying to survive a monster instead of rebuild an airplane. I always like the original movie because it had these relationships with what seemed like real people who had real lives that represented the public.

Coincidentally, Barrie Chase is now the sole surviving cast member of It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World.

Now she is sole survivor of both films.

Kruger died today

Oh, that's a shame. He was my sister's favorite actor since he played Kurt in Hatari.

She? Diane Kruger is alive and well!

HARDY KRUGER, the German model plane designer passed away last year. No relation to Diane Kruger, who wasn't even born when this film was made.

Weird to think everyone's dead from a 1965 movie .
I bet the average age of an actor was a lot older back then .
