Now THAT's important news !

reply

Yes, everything involving Ariana is important news.

reply

that's quite a lot of peeps.
daaaaaaaaamn.

you know what i say? good on her.

reply

Is she the new Gwen Stefani?

Will she continue to act like a 16 year old "Lola" caterwauling like a black woman for much needed attention?

Inquiring minds wanna know!

reply

Ariana is way superior to Gwen Stefani.

While she can sing better, that doesn't mean much. How many times have contestants on singing shows popped up that could sing better than the celebrity judges? Many, but then how many times has one of those contestants gone on to a real career in music? You don't even need all your fingers to count them.

Ariana's career is built on the backs of tween girls, and at some point their fickle nature will turn on her and she will be a footnote in music history. She has proven she isn't capable of reinventing herself like Madonna, only that she is annoying as fuck with her donut licking anti-american bullshit.

We all know you've got some hard on for her, so do us all a favor go pull up some of her sex videos and go away.

reply

Exactly right about the fickle music industry. As soon as teenage girls stop relating to her as they age up or the new generation of teenage girls don't relate to the "old-fashioned" star their older sisters were into it's over for her unless she can carve out something other than looking like a 17 year old and singing teeny bopper pop that other people wrote and produced for her.

reply

I'm sure you are one of her followers vying for her attention and never getting a response...😂

reply

True Ariana fans don't support her with the hopes of getting her attention they do so simply due to how great she is.

reply

You sound like the fan of many a fallen pop icon. You are not unique, what you are saying is not unique, you superhero singer is not unique and will follow the path of multiple other singers spanning decades. Literally hundreds who had 15 minutes in the limelight.

reply

Ariana is neither fallen nor will she fall. She is here to stay and already a cultural icon. She is quite similar to Rihanna in that regard.

reply

>She is here to stay and already a cultural icon

Remind me in 3 to 5 years.

I listened to a new 2020 song from her and Lady Gaga. Sounds like something Kyle Minoque sang in the early 2000s. Barely any different. It isn't even supposed to be a "retro" song and it was dated the day it was mastered and printed. Lady Gaga needs to step it up to, writing weak suace like that.

Sorry. She will be remembered about as well as new kids on the block. She will never be remembered like the Beatles or Elvis Presley. Not saying she a bad performer or anything but it's all just cookie cutter stuff nowadays. It's not her fault. Rock/Pop Music hit a peak probably in the early 90's. Nothing is really standout today. Like television productions and movies there is more produced than ever before. It all gets lost and forgotten very easily nowadays.

Keep dreaming, Ariana has been running for nearly 10 years now and she only keeps getting better and her popularity growing.

reply

Yeah shes so great I just heard about her a couple years ago..🙄🙄🙄🙄..you cant be that old if you are fan boying/girling this much over a pop singer. 😂

reply

She is a bad performer. I had the misfortune of taking my daughter to one of her concerts... The only saving grace of the ordeal is she was it was such a shitty performance that my daughter wanted to leave after about 20 minutes. If she had a clue she would know that if you want to run around on stage like a maggot in hot grease then you need to either be a much more talented singer than she is or just lip sync it like Spears does.

Not happening, Ariana is too smart for that.

reply

If your parents would turn off the content restriction on your computer you would know she licks a lot more than donuts.

reply

Most of those followers are fake. Theres a reason her posts there struggle to get 5 million likes.

reply

The bigger question is, where's the transparency in verifying followers are real? Back in the Dot Com bubble hundreds of online companies were being overvalued based on their page clicks and page clicks translated the same way a Nielsen rating determined the amount of viewers of a TV or Radio event back in the day, but with Nielsen you had actual random participants whereas online a "click" could be artificially generated. Fast forward to today and the claim that firms like Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, TikTok make about generating viewership online seems more nefarious.

There are some tools online that check social media for fake followers. Like this one for instance:

https://www.modash.io/fake-follower-check/

Enter "arianagrande" and you'll see the engagement rate of her followers is a mere 2% and it says over 25% of her followers are fake. It is likely more considering her engagement rate but at least it gives an idea.

Cool, but there can be a counter application to trick sites like this as well. My point is that technology has enabled large scale hacking and theft

reply

i wonder who the most popular dude on Insta is.

OK, so looks like:
Cristiano Ronaldo = 238 Million
Ariana Grande = 202 Million

wow

reply

Does that mean there are men with more followers? Just curious and too lazy to find out for myself - or indeed open an Instagram account.
