Sorry, terrible Wonder Woman...

...compared to Lynda Carter. There will never be anyone as good,

It doesn't take a great leap of talent to play Wonder Woman. In that regard Gadot is perfectly fine.

But where do you go from there? MoS left me bitterly disappointed. After what Christopher Nolan gave them, how could DC/WB sanction such a mean-spirited and shallow film? I wasn't going to throw money at Dawn of Justice or Suicide Squad after that.

Gal Gadot looks the part but can she act? I don't know but she going to have fierce competition. While DC is in safe mode, Marvel has made another risky but potentially pivotal casting choice: Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.

Best of luck to Gal:

Don't compare them. Lynda did WW in the 70's now Gal has to bring her to the 21st century. Two different women, two different interpretations.

Come on dude, stop living in the past....Wonder Woman with Lynda Carter TV show was not all that great...

This topic reminds me of a guy on imdb that said Nicholas Hammond in the 70s Spider-Man show was a better Peter Parker/Spider-Man than Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield.

Tom Holland maybe

I think she's good in the role, much better than I expected.

Sure, I wouldn't pay to see her play Shakespeare, but she's just fine as WW. She has the essentials down, she's beautiful, she's utterly fearless, she's formidable (with help from the special effects Dept.), and most important, she radiates warmth, good nature, and decency. She seems like someone who you could trust to both lead you in battle, and babysit your infant.

I agree.

Carter was way hotter and not full of cgi action movies.
