McAfee talked to Rodgers and the four year deal is not official. Rodgers told him he wouldn't be the highest paid player in the league and it'd be a team friendly deal.

I'm a Packer fan, so follow them a little closer than most.

Gotta respect any athlete that plays their whole career for one team.

Lebron would have jumped ship

reply

Yeah. Wish he'd handled not getting vaccinated better, but oh well. It's not something that'd make me want him gone.

reply

The "vaccine" is a joke. He avoided getting something he didn't want in his body, got covid, and recovered. Just like 99% of people. He couldn't have handled it any better.

reply

No, he should have been honest about it.

reply

He knew people would judge him for not getting it so he said he was immunized. Lol

reply

Yeah. And then he tried to use some semantics to avoid admitting it.

I know a lot of people who aren't vaxxed. I am and got boosters, but I also have health problems and am at high risk. Personally I'm not judging someone who's young or healthy for not getting it.

reply

He knew the lemmings would get their panties in a wad exactly like they did.

Peoples medical choices are their personal business.

Especially when involving a so-called “vaccine” that was complete fail.

reply

Well here's the thing. Apparently Aaron's teammates, coaches, and the NFL all knew he wasn't vaxed. So to the people that mattered, he was honest.

As for the public, he didn't want to deal with angry twitter mob, which can't blame him. So maybe he was justified in keeping it to himself. If his teammates didn't mind, then I don't care what twitter thinks. The only problem I had with Aaron was how pompous he came across while defending himself. But all the people demanding he be kicked out of the league...like relax.

Now personally, I have my shots. But I am a firm believer in everybody making their own decision on what to do with their own body. He didn't want it, I don't care. Just win games, that's all I care about

reply

I don't follow sports but my college professor is a big fan. He told me there needs to be vax mandates for every person living in this country. He also told me that while Aaron is a great player he is not a good person

reply

I never said Aaron was a good person. But it's his body.

Your professor is an idiot

reply

In Govt we all should trust.

His semantic argument that he did some alternative medicine which clearly isn't the same as being vaccinated was pretty cringy. And blaming cancel culture for being criticized for it. I'm not one of those people who say cancel culture isn't real but he wasn't close to being canceled. I still see some ads with him in the Wisconsin area and he won his fourth MVP.

reply

I agree 100% the alternative medicine was absolute cringe. We agree on that. Aaron embarrassed himself on multiple occasions. I'm only defending his right to choose.

As for him being cancelled it's not like there weren't people who wanted to. His state farm commercials all but disappeared. Howard Stern "he should be kicked out of the league" and countless others wanting him out of the NFL

reply

That's true. I don't think we really disagree on much.

reply

Remember when you and the other idiots all got their panties in a wad and said he die?

Me too.

reply

As a die-hard Packer fan this is great news!
