The royal family wouldn't protect me!

You hear this a lot among her biggest complaints about why she supposedly left the family. But close analysis by many who studied what happened and listened to insiders reveal that it was never about bodyguards and high fences around the palaces.

What Meghan wanted was to control the narrative about herself in the British press, despite the RF explaining to her that a.) they have no power to stop the press from writing whatever they want, and b.) they warned her the British press would be brutal to her, because they are like that with all VIP's, with members of the RF being their favorite target. She didn't believe them and then cried "unfair!" when what they warned her came to pass. And they don't discriminate either. Every member of the RF has been treated cruelly by the British media, even Princess Catherine.

In fact, the only protection the RF could afford her against the press was to put an injunction against every British news outlet NOT to talk about the truth behind her "pregnancies" and whether the kids are real or not. It was revealed in a covert conversation that the press and the royal family know everything about her, including all the secrets she hides or attempts to scrub from the internet. The only reason the RF hasn't allowed the press to say a word about whether Archie and Lilibet should be in the Line of Succession due to being born by surrogates or not, is because the truth would hurt the RF in the long run.

However, it's hinted that this injunction was put in by the Queen herself, and it doesn't extend to foreign presses, such as in America. King Charles could easily have it lifted...if he had the balls.
