From a traditionally and rabidly bigoted and APARTHEID country that still praises vile personages (in many other ways also) such as J Edgar Hoover, Allen Dulles, John Wayne, Frank Sinatra, Walt Disney, etc etc.

Let alone name buildings and airports after them.
