She's an enigma..

I know Dawn was known to be sweet, bubbly, and lively, but I don't know much about her. I think she was married in the 60's but never had kids and never remarried.

I guess she just liked having friends and being in her own company. Not totally bizarre but I will say odd and/or strange.

Preferring not to have kids is not "bizarre" to any degree, or "odd and/or strange". Believe it or not, everyone is not obsessed with and fascinated by children. There's also the possibility that she was not able to have them. It's really none of our business.

She was definitely a caring person. She took care of Natalie Schaeffer (Mrs. Howell) at the end of her life.
