It really looks like her fandom has shrunk

With how many people are now criticizing her casting as Belle in Beauty and the Beast and how little attention her recent appearances have gotten it really seems like there are far fewer people following her at this point. Her fandom has shrunk and she is just not very relevant anymore and isn't even doing any movies. Guess people moved on to other stars.

I mean it is only natural that it would happen. She hasn’t done anything after Little Women outside of attending a couple of shows and has no upcoming projects lined up. What exactly are fans meant to look forward to? She doesn’t even do much in terms of social media either.

reply

Plus, she's 32, and even though she looks great, a lot of the straight men who used to be crazy about her now think she's too old for them.

reply

Ah yes blame the straight men for being paedophiles/ephebophiles for why she is less famous. Such a horrible take.

reply

Oh no! I said something about straight men that could... be considered critical by a totally crazy person whose hobby is looking for stupid shit to complain about!!!!

reply

A horrible take followed by a poor ad hominem reply.

She doesn't act any more and only does appearances to maintain her activist persona. She doesn't have any talent or charisma, only a familiar name and a mountain of privilege.

reply

She is quite beautiful but she seems lost, like she doesn’t knows what she wants to be.

reply

She mentioned feeling lost for the last 3 or 4 years in a recent interview. She did say she is due to begin an MA in Creative Writing so hopefully she is able to develop something genuine.

reply

I can see it and honestly all her activism efforts during those years felt inauthentic. Hopefully she can come into her own and find her footing again. I quite like her but she has to find some venture to do something that will get fans interested.

reply

There is nothing there to like. It’s like Wonder Bread.
