If this happened anywhere other than Chicago it might be believable...that city is 99.8% anti-Trump. No way he randomly encountered one of the 400 people in a city of 2.3 million who support Trump, let alone ones that would actually beat someone up over him. The punk is lying about the MAGA hats and the comments, pure and simple; he's just using it as a way to get more attention than his beating deserves.

reply

They could've came from outside the city. People do that. There was an incident some years back where some young thugs drove from the suburbs of Houston into Houston's gay district and beat up and killed a gay man as he was leaving a bar, then they drove the 50 miles back to their homes.

In this case Jussie did post on Twitter or Instagram where he lives and that he was returning to Chicago to film some scenes for 'Empire.' If this attack happened that's probably how they knew his whereabouts.

reply

And someone could also say why are so many people obsessed with demonizing MAGA? No Trump voter would ever even say "This is MAGA country" ... especially in Chicago. That phrase sounds like something that far-leftists believe that a Trump voter would say.

This incident is so far-fetched that you'd have to already have a lot of bias to believe what MSM feeds you. A lot of these "news stories" lately are Rorschach tests.

If the shoe fits.

Probably because they do stuff like beat people up at Trump rallies, run over and kill protesters, knife black women to death, urinate on homeless Mexicans, and lynch Jussie Smollet????

It is an ugly, ugly thing that Donald Trump has brought bubbling up to the surface once again.

reply

Get real. Lynch means to hang someone by the neck, killing them. Let's not perpetuate the stereotype that the left exaggerates and uses words incorrectly, okay?

In this case, "lynching" is a massive exaggeration if the event occurred at all, but more importantly it's very likely a hoax. Street cameras showed him walking off-camera for 45 seconds (while NOT on the phone), and then walking (read: WALKING) back into camera (while NOT on the phone) with the shoelace around his neck like a necklace. No attack was seen in an area that is heavily monitored. Jussie claimed he was "on the phone with his manager" while the attack occurred. The manager claimed he heard (over the phone) the attackers shout MAGA. He has since DELETED that tweet. Why might that be? Maybe because the video footage came out showing that the guy was not on his phone before or after the supposed attack?

Do you believe that Jussie walked off camera, called his manager the moment he went off frame, was immediately attacked, beaten up, bleached, noosed, then he put his phone away, stood up, and casually walked back into camera again -- All within 45 seconds? Do you think that's likely?

reply

So why doesn't he turn over his phone to corroborate his story that he was on the phone with his manager at the time? Is he so dumb that he fails to realize it totally undermines his credibility about a story that strained credulity to begin with?

reply

Being on the phone has no impact on the evidence, nor his credibility. If he wanted to fake it all, he would have been on the phone too! And then they'd turn over the records to dot all their i's.

If it's all a hoax, why bother with fabricating the noose evidence? That could unravel the plan if it destroys the story.

And lol @ the attack not being on camera.... totally undermines, right? Every crime is caught on camera, right? Wrong.

reply

"Why bother with fabricating the noose evidence?"

Because of the desire to inherently correlate "MAGA" with racism. Same with the claim about the: Bleach, racial slur, homophobic slur, and them conveniently shouting "MAGA COUNTRY!" Only opportunity Jussie missed was to claim that they beat him up with a Bible.

It's desperation after the massive Covington failure, where the full video came out showing that the kids were actually the only innocent party involved.

reply

It's literally insane how they will call anything a lie and anyone a liar if it looks bad for Trump, yet they literally pretend Trumps own constant lies don't exist.
