Rose, who emerged from his 2017 sexual misconduct scandal in April by posting an interview with Warren Buffett on his website, spent the pandemic writing and circulating "a 75-page treatise on why he deserves a second chance. (He declined to share it with me.)," writes William D. Cohan in Air Mail. Cohan adds: "Reached via e-mail on several occasions lately, Rose has been a little opaque about just what he’s trying to accomplish. Like Dylan or Springsteen, Rose has also been hard at work packaging his extensive content—his decades of interviews—and hopes to sell it, along with his Web site. (There have been no takers so far.)"

Would love to see his interviews back on syndication.

I hope he comes back. I hope his old shows come back. He was/is great at what he does best.

I didn't see everything he ever did: think about 50%. I usually tuned in to see what he had. Rose Friars open season Th/A.25 vs. Colgate in Anderson Sta. Followed by Sun/A.30 on road vs.Fordham in the Bronx.
Early season NL highlite is 9/13 vs. UNH at home.
There are a lot of things I used to watch on PBS that have gone now. I miss them. Most of the people in question are dead. Rose has a serious heart condidion. I'm surprised he doesn't just quietly retire?

The intimate conversations were probably reminiscent of Edward R. Murrow. Rose’s interviews were legendary. One of my favorites was when he was with Peter O’Toole and O’Toole’s tales during the making of Lawrence of Arabia. There are so many. There is nothing like Rose on TV today. This was his life - doing these shows. There is no such thing as quiet retirement after what he accomplished. He wasn’t finished. I hope he comes back. His shows are actually historical - they should at least show the old shows. I think of what we have missed these last few years by his absence.
