The stupidity of it is these people are enabling a delusion. If a person claimed he was a bird would they push him out a window? If a man said he was a fish would they toss him in a lake? He could have said friends can disagree but he didn't. I see no acknowledgment of Rowling's right to hold a different opinion than his.
