Ronan Farrow’s book reveals how unsupportive of female victims she is. As a member of the Matt Lauer fan club and bandwagon, she made tasteless remarks at a Matt Lauer roast that offensively referenced Ann Curry.

Gross.

I cannot watch her anymore.

I cannot watch NBC news programs anymore because the pigs that tried to derail the Weinstein story, and lied and covered up for Weinstein and Matt Lauer, ARE STILL RUNNING NBC NEWS.

Because of the actions of these men and women, they allowed more and more AND MORE victims to be raped and sexually harassed. They allowed careers to be ruined of women who refused to play along.

I don't follow these people too much because I don't like the news because it seems very bias to me. I also hate news "personalities" because I just want facts.

Anyway, I looks up Matt Lauer to see what's going on. Some women is accusing him of rape now.

How do you know this stuff is true?

I mean rape is attacking someone, holding them in place, getting an erection through all of that (typically), and then forcing your penis into someone you have subdued in some way. Usually, it's by threatening to kill them or beating them or tying them up.

That's a bit much when you step back and think about it instead of just casually using the word.

Using the word casually? your 20th century definition of rape is extremely out of date.

But Farrow’s most explosive interview in the book is with Brooke Nevils, the former NBC News employee whose complaint about Matt Lauer led to the co-anchor’s firing from the “Today” show in 2017.

At the time, NBC News kept Nevils’ identity anonymous from press reports at her request. The full details of her allegations have not been made public until now.

In the book, obtained by Variety, Nevils alleges that at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, Lauer anally raped her in his hotel room.

“Matt Lauer’s conduct was appalling, horrific and reprehensible, as we said at the time,” NBC News said in a statement. “That’s why he was fired within 24 hours of us first learning of the complaint. Our hearts break again for our colleague.”
