I share my thoughts on Henry Cavill's run as Superman and the fandom disappointment that he won't be playing the role anymore.

He was fine. The script didn't have a lot of charm. That's been missing Since Christoper Reeves. They tried it with Brandon Routh, but it didn't translate well.

Superman movie doesn't need to be Christopher Reeve-verse to have charm, look at Superman & Lois it has plenty of heart and charm.

Snyder made the mistake of making Superman too much like the Dark Knight.

Lois & Clark, Smallville and Superman & Lois all have it.

With Snyder's recent comments about Super fans being brainwashed to what isn't true canon, didn't he watch any Superman shows like L&C or SV? they had better writing than his films.

This obsession with him as Superman isn't leading people to being fans of Superman, just Snyderverse Superman.
