I know that you probably never met him, but from what you heard or read, do you think he was a nice person?
sharei've only seen interview on late night (aka Conan O'Brien, etc) and he always seemed pretty awesome.
so from that data.. i can say yes, he was a nice dude.
Never knew him personally but from what I have seen of him on talk shows he seemed like the kind of person you'd love to have as a friend. I was so saddened when he died.
