He seemed poised for superstardom in the 90s, but it never happened. Why?

He's worked steadily, but mostly in TV and straight-to-video movies.

It seems he started making a number of movies that bombed theatrically. Even his most famous movie 'The Boondock Saints' was a commercial failure during its initial run.

HE IS AN AVERAGE ACTOR AT BEST...HE WAS VERY ELEVATED BY THE BOONDOCK SAINTS FLICK...BUT EVERY ROLE AFTER THAT HE WAS UNDERWHELMING.

LMAO...I USED TO WATCH THAT WITH MY MOM...I HONESTLY FORGOT HE WAS ON THAT SHOW.

That show and Suicide Kings had me crushing on him, but yeah, as much as I loved Boondock Saints at the time, I didn't think he nor Norman Reedus were great in it.

I thought he was great in Powder and The Young Indiana Jones prior to The Boondock Saints.
