I don't agree with her lifestyle and it's comical that JC PENNEY's would use her in their ads while they're struggling to keep their stores open.

In the grand scheme of LaLa land she's about the most wholesome person I can even think of.
An Olympics ago I stopped by some guy friends and they turned on the TV and some Olympic action was on. I thought, cool, these guys are real sports fans. But it was the top of the hour, and Olys went off the air and Ellen came on. That's what they were looking for. Ellen, not the Olys. I was quite taken aback.

I had no interest in watching her show (even in the 90s, when sitcoms were "better," hers was in the "stupid and forgettable" category, and they were as much a dime a dozen back then as they are now). Only good thing she did with her life was voice Dory in "Finding Nemo" and "Finding Dory."
