Where is he?

This legend gave us The Fugitive, Under Seige and A Perfect Murder. Why isn’t he being showered with projects?

It’s like Martin Brest and Adrian Lyne - great directors who made popular Oscar-winning films, yet Hollywood somehow tossed them in the bin 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was just wondering that. I guess he stopped directing. The Fugitive was great, but even though I liked some of the movies he made after The Fugitive, it just seemed that he was unable to make a movie that good again.

Lyne released Deep Water last year on HULU that was an average thriller with Ben Affleck. Brest has not done anything since the box office and critical disaster Gigli. However, he states that he is independently wealthy and makes movies just for fun.

Davis has kind of had a weird career. Just recently I watched a movie of his for the first time called The Package. It was pretty good.

It's kind of weird how he's made Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal movies but has also made films with legit A-listers like Ford and Hackman.

Davis has not made a movie since 2006's The Guardian. That was not a bad film but I think it flopped at the box office. I wouldn't think that would've been enough to kill his career, but maybe he himself just decided he was done with filmmaking. The man is 76-years-old now so I doubt a comeback is likely.

He received a lot of pushback from Collateral Damage due to its massive box office failure. He had signed on to do Holes and wanted to take a break from studio productions once that was completed. He claimed he became burned out due to the criticism that yielded from Collateral Damage.

He's been doing the rounds being interviewed everywhere for The Fugitive’s 30th Anniversary screenings and new 4K disc.

Good to see him out and about, I just wish Hollywood would give him a decent project to make. Instead, they insist on getting clueless hacks to make woke garbage that flops hard over and over again. Baffling and infuriating.
