Well, you and I may not do it, but you'd be surprised how many rich people do settle as a way of avoiding the media and hassle of court (like Michael Jackson, who people still insist is innocent). The irony is that this big sensation would not happen in yesteryear when being 17 yrs old was not considered so young, since children today are coddled so much. I realize the law has to draw the age-line somewhere, but 18 yrs old is perfectly legit, but it changes when the "victim" is 17 and 10 months old? Aside from the technicalities of the law, let's hear how the poor 17 yr old was "damaged" in literal terms. And if it was "hush" money, then we shouldn't even know about it, or it's no longer hush money.

And, yet, Anthony stays with the woman he loves who supposedly betrayed him with a 17 yr old. You don't even know what pedophile means; learn what words mean before you use them (and it doesn't mean she started recruiting him when he was 7 yrs old to certify she is a pedophile).
