Tragic

Beautiful woman turned into a lunatic by some terrible people. I hope she finds happiness someday.

"beautiful"?! You need some glasses! This evil witch played lowlifes because she was one. Then she married Marilyn Manson, but they broke up because she was too evil. But she finally found her true calling: falsely accusing every man she could find!

reply

The tragedy is that a human being failed to reach her potential because she was too unintelligent to resist being turned into a lunatic by terrible people.

She was so hot on Jawbreaker and The Devil in the Flesh. A shame what she has turned into.

If by beautiful you mean ugly I'd agree. And if by happiness you mean eternity in hell I agree there too.

It's crazy what these actors must see and endure to be a part of hollyweird.

They are completely chewed up and spit out by the industry

I’ve been skimming her memoir. If even 10% of it is true (and I’m not saying I think 90% is bs) she had one of the most messed up childhoods I’ve ever come across. It’s not surprising that she has become such a “character” on the internet and in the media; she was such a broken, neglected, abused, sad little girl.

She's not a lunatic. This is merely a role she is playing to stay relevant. What happens to 99% of starlets like her by the time they are in their late 40s? They are either reduced to bit parts in sleazy direct-to-video roles, or selling autographed pictures to sweaty middle-aged nerds at SF conventions, or dead from drugs, alcohol or suicide, or weighing 300 pounds and married to some truck driver or car salesman and living in suburbia.

McGowan knows exactly what she is doing. She is keeping her name out there in a way that will not be hurt by any loss of sex appeal due to aging, and she is also getting revenge on Hollywood bigwigs who took advantage of her when she was young and dumb. Rather than crazy, I would call her ingenious. I enjoy watching her axe swinging over the heads of those guys, just waiting for it to fall on the next one.

Whatever will this has-been do now that the ridiculous #MeToo witch hunt has thankfully self-destructed? Even the New York Times--once the bastion of #MeToo fanaticism--has now fallen silent on the "movement".
