The news media is sure milking this shooting

Every day another expert comes on to give their opinion. If it had been one of the grips who did the shooting it wouldn't have past the Arizona border.

reply

Yes it's almost in the " too good to be true " category as far as media feeding frenzies go.

reply

As they should, his neglance killed someone. Fuck him.

reply

Actually, it was the armourer's and 1st AD's negligence.

reply

Doesn't absolve the armourer or the 1st AD.

reply

Say that to police that you was told the gun wasn't loaded after you shoot someone. They will say tell it to the judge while they are putting the cuffs on you.

reply

Actually, they didn't do that did they, or Baldwin would've been put into jail. He was questioned, cooperated, and was dismissed.

reply

He's being treated far differently than if anyone else had done something like this. If you look at how a high school kid that "accidentally" shoots someone at a party where they thought the gun was unloaded the cops will arrest the kid and haul his ass to jail for processing. It is pathetic that Baldwin wasn't forced to make bail like anyone else would have.

Not saying the armorer and AD aren't in deep shit as well, but I would expect them to be in much more trouble from a civil standpoint than from a criminal standpoint. It would be one thing if Baldwin had handed someone a glass of water he had been given and it turned out to be poisoned resulting in someone's death... but he was handed a gun and he broke so many common gun safety rules and actual laws that it doesn't really matter that he didn't load the gun. As soon as it took possession of the gun it became his duty to not only insure HE knew if it was loaded or unloaded, but also not to point it at anyone and not to pull the trigger. He failed all three of those things. He was not only negligent he most likely would meet the definition of being grossly negligent in his behavior as a whole in this situation.

Apparently he didn't bother to take any gun safety training that the armorer wanted to provide, so would it be the person that provided cars to a movie set that was responsible if an actor jumped in one without knowing how to drive and ran over someone, or would it be the actor that didn't know how to drive and refused to learn before jumping in a car that was at fault?

Democrat governor in the state.

The news media milk everything until it bleeds.

reply

Yes they do. They have lost all credibility with me.

reply

Steve Bannon won't talk to the homo communist in Washington. The press have no other thing to speculate stories about than this guy now.

reply

Yep, Baldwin and his people are probably just praying that someone will go shoot up a school or movie theater so the media will focus on something else.
