i wanted and was going to see Hugo 2011 but the cinema near me removed the movie after one week because it did not make money... !!! i regret that i did not go to see it in the first week.
I mainly only didn't see the earliest ones, like "Who's That Knocking at My Door?" or "Boxcar Bertha". I didn't see "Mean Streets" in its first release, either.
I saw "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" at a drive-in!
I saw "Taxi Driver" in its first run in a theater, and then saw an art house re-issue of "Mean Streets" later that same year.
From there forward, I have seen every theatrically released Scorsese film in the theater except for "After Hours", which I saw on video.
So, most of them...
I've just seen "Silence" three times in the theater...

Amazing. Two questions. 1. What was your impression of King of Comedy when you saw it? The film was seen as very strange when it came out. Of course it's a classic now, but it was seen as a downer back then.
2. Why didn't you see After Hours in the cinema?
Edit: Just realized the post was made 3 years ago.... Likelihood of a reply? Slim.
Wow! You saw Alice Doesn't Live HereAnymore at the drive-in? That's a bizarre choice for that theater owner to play at that venue, but I have to say, I think it's the coolest!
