I never understood her appeal

Does she appeal to women? Because to me as a guy I have never found her to be great looking. I know that is my opinion, but her name would never come up when I was in junior high, and high school when guys around me would talk about celebrities they thought were hot. This was at the time she was the most popular too, in the early to mid 90's. I don't think her acting is anything special either, and she is supposedly a very self obsessed person in real life. So what exactly is her appeal?

I enjoy watching her in films even though she isn't the best actress and I don't think she is that attractive. She has a certain something about her that you can't explain.

reply

Yeah I never understood the fascination with her to be honest.

She may not be everyone's idea of a perfect beauty, a likeable person, a great actor, or a sex symbol, but she has real charisma - star quality!

The camera loves her, she just draws the eye, and that has nothing to do with being able to act or being good-looking, I mean Tom Fucking Cruise has this quality and he's a horrible actor, completely unlikable, and looks like a mole. It's just a personal magnetism that registers on film, a few people have shit-tons of it and they become movie stars. Roberts as it, and well. She's better looking and more talented than Cruise.

Every guy has his type. Roberts in her prime had the looks of a professional model, tall, well proportioned, great face and hair. However, not every guy is into that.

She always struck me as the type of woman that other straight women find attractive but men don't think about too much.

I'm a woman and I find her absolutely beautiful and adore her 😊
