Oldest director ever?

reply

In 2010 Clint said he was inspired by Manoel de Oliveira and wanted to be the worlds oldest filmaker, Manoel de Oliveira lived to 106 and made his last project at that age as well. It's been 13 years since Clint has said that and alot can change in that time.

Juror #2 sounds like a very interesting film.

reply

If he still has it in him to do one more movie good for him.

Richard Jewel, The Mule and some others were pretty good, but Cry Macho was worse than terrible.

reply

Honestly I find his latest films terrible. Richard Jewel was ok. The rest are not good.

The Mule was good. Sully and American Sniper were good, the only two that I don't really like are 15:17 to Paris and Cry Macho. I don't believe he did anything bad prior to 15:17 Those two particularly Cry Macho never sounded like good projects for him but Juror #2 is different, I think this one his perfect for him and so far the cast is great, Clint Eastwood also won't have a main role which he should not have had in Cry Macho. A supporting role is good, Cry Macho was ridiculous because of Eastwood's age, he needs to know his place now and the role should be realistic otherwise it's better if he is not in it, The Mule was good because that was fitting for his age and was actually a real story of someone that did the same thing at his age at the time.
