Based on what we have seen in "Thor: Love and Thunder" it did not, the beer gut was very apparent. They really should have chosen someone else.

Apparently he absolutely loves chicken wings, hot wings, and beer and that this is a contributing factor to his weight. He struggles with comfort food.
