Anyone Remember The Name of This Movie?

Having just watched Godsend (2004) I got to thinking about a movie from a long time ago that I've never run into and I thought I'd ask if any of you remember it.

I saw it on TV in the mid 1980s, so it could have been a made for TV movie or an actual theatre movie aired on TV. I believe I saw it on CTV, a Canadian television station, so it could be a Canadian production. I guess it could have been a TV show but I'm pretty sure it was a movie.

The premise is that someone is placed into cryogenic sleep and when they wake up you find out that they no longer have a soul.

It was great idea and that's all I remember.

Well, I remember I watched it in our den with my dog but I don't think that helps much.

I owe you one. But you can't have a kidney.

Are we the same person?

reply

Okay, but you leave some unanswered questions.

Why would being frozen kill the soul but not the body?

And if you believe the soul leaves the body upon death, where was his soul when his body was resurrected?

I mean, if it avoids the Christian tripe this could be a very deep and existential premise for a movie.

reply

I'll re-watch it and let you know.

But I'm pretty sure when they freeze people, they're dead, not on the verge of death.
