Great Tarantino Quote
When people ask me if I went to film school, I tell them, "No, I went to films."
-- Quentin Tarantino
Recently finished reading his "Cinema Speculation." One of the most enjoyable books about movies that I've ever read.

What did he have to say about Rolling Thunder?

shareI agree with him. Rolling Thunder was bad ass! It totally captivated me when I was younger.
shareIt's a mega revenge film and QT loves those righteous revenge stories.
shareYeah, I do too. One I rewatched recently: https://moviechat.org/tt6850820/Peppermint You could almost read Tarantino's style into this.
shareCheck out The Park Is Mine starring Tommy Lee Jones, it's really good, like First Blood in Central Park.
shareI’ve always enjoyed this review of the film.

Great analysis.
I think so also, and I agree with a lot that’s mentioned. The ending is spectacular but when I think of Rolling Thunder I immediately recall Rayne saying “You learn to love the rope. That's how you beat 'em. That's how you beat people who torture you. You learn to love 'em. Then they don't know you're beatin' 'em.”
Great film.
It IS good. Thanks for sharing this. The character of Rane to me, has always been the personification of stoicism. Isn't it a shame that men are expected to stuff, to
suppress so much? One of the most honest comments I ever heard came from a former girlfriend during pillow talk one night. She said she would hate to be a man because of the pressure that is forced upon them to perform.
Is he Jewish now? I think you have to be Jewish to immigration into israel.
