what could replace "How are you?"

We ask this banal, generic filler question of each other at many passings and greetings.

What COULD be a much better, more real, equally short, but more fullfilling question or back and forth?

I think Seinfeld went with "You are so good looking" or something.

reply

"Wussup?" has replaced it. In 50 years it will be a standard English salutation.

"How are you?" has always been like asking for a health update.

reply

"Bitches leave."

How's it hanging?

What's up, big guy?

Hey, you're looking good today.

Nice shoes you're wearing!

Is this the way to the bathroom?

Haven't I seen you somewhere before.

We were in the same class, maybe?

Niiiice gym outfit!

Is everything okay?

You shouldn't be walking on the streets this time of night as a young woman.

Sure, you can crash at my place.

Climb in.

That sledgehammer? That red is all rust.

Ha.. ha.. ha...

I may start trying something... anything, not sure yet. Maybe upon someone 'acknoledging' me in passing, I will simply say something like "You rock." or "Hey, you." or "Great day." Which acknoleges them, does not commit to extended fake dialogging, and wishes a positivity, mutual acknoledgement, or great day on them also. One tiny little package.

'My name is ShogunofYonkers.
You killed my father.
Prepare to die.'

This my go to conversation starter.
