Movies where you wanted the bad guy to win

I wanted Ted Crawford (Anthony Hopkin) to get away with killing his wife in Fracture. Due to her cheating on him and when he describes the crushing feelings he has she says "I really don't think I can do one of these tonight."

I found him so likeable and the police and the prosecutor so dislikable, along with her, that I wanted him to win.

The ending is left open, so hopefully he did.

Any other movies come to mind?

The first Nolan Batman movie.

Billy Madison. This might just be an Adam Sandler movie thing, but he's rarely actually the little guy defeating the big bad villain, but that's especially true in this movie. He's a thirty-year-old nepo baby who's going to lose access to his father's company because he's pathetic and has no skills that would warrant him any job at the place, let alone the top job. Eric deserved to be the head of the company, and Billy was going to remain rich and spoiled regardless of the outcome of his aim to become boss.
