What's the deal on YouTube?

You know when you look up a new film on there and instead of the film it's one of those "click the link to watch", what are these?

I just looked up Talk To Me, and it comes up with loads of these, (the full film not available).

I've never clicked a link, but if there's so many and if they are dodgy sites how come youtube doesn't boot them off?

I think they're links to pirate sites. My guess is they get purged every now and then.

So if I clicked one I could watch the film? Or are they just scam sites designed to invade my device?

I've never clicked one, but I would think the link itself is genuine, or I'd expect there to be comments from others warning people to stay away.

🤔 that makes sense. My curious side wants to click one to see what happens but I don't want to fuck up my tablet or phone 💩

If you have an IPhone, it’s unlikely it’ll get screwed up. Virtually all viruses target Windows, so it’s your laptop you need to be careful about.

betting youtube CLAIMS they are looking into it, takes their sweet time, because if it pops up one ad on playback, THEY make money. and money is all there is.

they do this with old movies as well. i guess they want the view for some reason. it has been going on there for years.

Yeah that's what I've always thought. But just because there's so many of them, I wondered if they are real streaming links (even though not legit) or if they are all just scams 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm not brave enough to try one just incase.

They must be ads, don't see any of them, while searching for Talk To Me (2022).

This is one but there are loads.

I used my vpn in America znd found it available to buy for $20 whereas my usual UK version does not have the option to buy it.
