What is something that is clearly overpriced yet people still buy?

These days, what isn't overpriced? Fuel for vehicles. Rent if that counts. Food. All the basics and all the luxury items are too overpriced, but at least you expect that from luxury (doesn't make it right though).

Airport food.

Beats by Dre headphones. This is the one that (mostly) pisses me off. Like there are genuinely better headphones for a fraction of the price.

I guess it's about branding & shit

KFC - overpriced and the pieces are smaller.

Out of print DVDs and Blu-rays.

Concert tickets

Temptee Whipped Cream Cheese.

There's also a place in my neighborhood known as the "Jew Deli;" the food is 5 star but the pricing is ridiculous.

Movie tickets.

I just get some neighborhood together and we make our own movies from scratch. Since digital video came around it costs nothing.
