shareIn the recent travesty of a Twilight Zone reboot they did an episode on a white cop who pulled over a black man and his mother. The Twilight Zone aspect is the mother has a remote control that allows her to rewind time so she keeps going back over and over again. She is super nice to the white cop, offers to buy him a slice of pie, all of this just makes him more and more suspicious of her.
In the end her pulls her over and her son is shot by him and lo and behold she can no longer rewind time. Somehow this is meant to be Twilight Zone.
For me rather than the BLM angle I would think the irony is the harder she tries to endear herself to the cop the more suspicious it makes her look and she creates the incident she is trying to avoid.
Shame politics had to ruin what could have been a great story.

Yep they aren't even sneaky about it anymore either. Characters will just give political speeches and/or wear political slogan t shirts. I was into the show Vikings for a while but they even made that Woke. Armies of Shield Maidens, tiny women defeating huge men in hand to hand combat! They sail to Spain and the Muslims stand peacefully praying while a Viking cuts one their heads off! It was just too much. They just had to keep pushing all of their agendas no matter how unlikely they were given the period and culture this show was set in.
They even made the Will & Grace come back miserable with Trump bashing and they are working on ruining the Frasier comeback now too.
And yes I tend to lean conservative but I would be bored seeing conservative politics in every show and movie too. I like a lot of old films but the ones I can't handle are the war movies done during WW2 obviously designed to pump people up and get men to enlist. They are so badly done and as we have discussed they disregard story and some element of reality in favour for their agenda.
