shareYou being Canadian, I thought you might know who he is.
But of course even in the pantheon of Canadian folk singers, he's not exactly at a Gordon Lightfoot level of recognition.
His 2 best known songs are probably "Bad As They Seem", & the title song to the Steve Buscemi film "Trees Lounge".
He also did probably the most metal-like & harrowing folk song ever ("When This Is Over") which was about the Susan Smith case......written from the perspective of the two victims!!😱😱😱
I don't really get the point of this.
