do/did you call your parents by their first names?
no, never.
shareno
shareHaha no way!
shareNOPE...NEVER...NOT EVEN NOW THAT I AM A 41 YEAR OLD MAN AND THEY ARE BOTH IN THEIR 70'S AND LIVING IN MY HOUSE...BUT THEY ARE GRANDPARENTS NOW...SO I CALL THEM BY THEIR CHOSEN GRANDPARENT NAMES USUALLY...PAPA & GRANNY.
THERE WAS A MONTH WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER THAT I CALLED MY DAD FATHER FIGURE...I WAS BEING A SHITHEAD AND HE HATED IT.
Same here. I’ve changed over to calling them grandma and granddaddy.
shareNo.
And people who do are weird.
Never.
shareNever. My late brother sometimes would call our mother by her name as a joke, she obviously didn't like it.
shareNo, but I had a friend in elementary school who did. I don't know why she did that because she was a totally normal kid from a normal family, all of whom I liked.
shareAlso no...always Mom and Dad to me.
