Would a Terminator reboot be successful?

I mean like a Terminator movie with a brand new storyline and plot and some changes to accommodate modern sensibilities. We can have another movie with a Sarah Connor type character being chased by a Terminator. All the roles would be played by new actors (no more Arnold Schwarzenegger or whatever.)

I think franchises should be rested already 10 years from the last instalment before being rebooted. Arnie owns the role though.

No, it couldnt be successful because of all the militant fans.

Maybe, but it shouldn't be. Just leave all those old franchises alone.
