Earth Day tomorrow! Honoring Planet Earth in unique ways?

Yep, Earth Day is tomorrow (or today, depends where you live.) Yes, the standard way to celebrate Earth Day is for doing good for the environment (picking up trash, reduce, reuse, recycle, save energy and water sources, etc.) Although, the usual arguments come that we should be doing this EVERY DAY and not just April 22. So, maybe there's ways to make Earth Day more special?

This topic is more about the fun, entertaining, and more unique ways to honor Planet Earth. I was thinking people can eat a Land, Air, and Sea burger (as referenced in another topic I posted: https://moviechat.org/general/General-Discussion/6261934094fb8c4e984e5346/Land-Air-and-Sea-Burger) to celebrate three types of biomes found on this planet. (It doesn't necessarily have to come from McDonald's, too!)

A plant-based burger would be a better idea if one is celebrating Earth Day. Less environmental impact.

I had no idea it was Earth Day again…

I am planning on some yard work this weekend, I’m nearly done with the leaves and my cub cadet is serviced and running smooth…does this count? Mind you, I will burn some gasoline and use the electric for my Ryobi battery…But my little spot on Earth will look very pretty and tidy👍

It’s still a bit windy and cool here in New York to put the vegetable seedlings out, they seem quite cozy on the sunny bay window sill right now but I’ve raked out and turned over their garden beds, the summer fire pit area is open for business, the outdoor furniture is all out and the yard is 90% done👍

I like Earth Day, it’s very motivational!

I hear about this global warming’ thing but it’s still freezing tits over here in New York, when is this ‘Global Warming’ thing kicking into high gear?!?

It’s likely you have me on ‘ignore,’ I don’t blame you, I consider it quite fine to be on all of the crybaby’s ignore lists…but it pelted ice and snow on us in the last couple days…I raked and mowed this big lawn and both tree lines with ice and snow coming down! How does this Global Warming hogwash work again..?

If I’m wearing swim trunks in May just keep ignoring me!

The warming is in a global-scale. Winter will still be cold and summer will still be hot. That would never change. It's called "winter" because it's cold anyway, if it's not cold it won't be "winter." It's the definition of the word.

Without the warming, those sea lines won't work because they will be all solid ice. But now that it's a liiiiiiitle bit warmer (still freezing cold, mind you) they are able to do such thing which was impossible before.

I had no idea it was Earth day.

I just repotted some plants and found 12 babies underneath them which I'm taking into work with me later as my colleagues all said they'd like one. So, I'm passing on the next generation of succulents to improve the air quality in other households.
