Can people in at least some circumstances be BOTH right AND wrong at the SAME time?

Or do very much most if not ALL our actions etc fall STRICTLY into ONE of the two polar opposite moral terms, not just speaking about at least some shades of grey there?

This happened to me tonight and I'm pissed off about it tbh.

I'm assistant manager, one of our floor staff has an issue with a customer. I agree with all the points she makes. So I talk to my manager to double check if I can ban the prick. My manager says that unless he specifically says or does something (which he hasn't) then no, I can't.

So I see him come in and i run down stairs and just stand there, waiting for a snide comment or disruptive behaviour .... but no, he is good as gold and then leaves. My floor staff colleague takes this as I am taking no action, says she is unwell and goes home sick.

So yes, there are shades of grey. Im trying to help whilst also following the rules. But I'm wrong in both sides of the opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Don't ever work in customer service folk, it'll give you headaches 🙄

I feel your pain. Having worked retail for many years, I've dealt my share of customer service issues. It totally sucks when your manager doesn't back you up. All it does is teach these obnoxious, wranglesome fopdoodles that they can be as rude as they want, because "the customer is always right." Anyone who has worked customer service KNOWS that isn't true. 🙄😠

Too vague. In some instances a person might be right and wrong, in different ratios; in others, someone might be completely right or wrong, but may be expressing themselves in a way where the opposite seems true, and so on. There's no context to this question so the answer can only be equally vague.
