The Last King of Scotland (2006) vs The Queen (2006)

I've only see The Queen, and it wasn't great. Mirren is a class act but the movie felt made for TV.

Seen both, like both, both leads won Oscars for their performance, but I purchased The Queen. I can't say one is better than the other, but obviously I think The Queen has more re-watch value. At least for me.

I hated The Queen. Therefore LKS.

Last King of Scotland. They are both good movies, but I thought Idi Amin's story was more interesting than the British royal family dealing with the death of Princess Diana.

Haven't seen The Queen, doesn't look interesting to me. The Last King of Scotland was pretty good.

Both average films. I recall more about The Queen so would say that has the edge.
