murder made easy - 2017 another tubitv find. genuinely fun murder/comedy. no idea who these people are or whether they've made anything else, but this is a tight, funny, & genuinely pleasing time. you could easily imagine this working as a cheerily morbid play, & if there's any justice in the world this will be discovered & seen by more people. i think it's very deserving of a cult audience.

Interesting Preview.. May be a little to quirky for me.. The name Murder made easy made me excited. I would love a true Agatha Christie type crime movie.

reply

I just watched the 1964 version of Ten Little Indians on TCM a short while ago.

reply

I watched Murder Made Easy today. I really enjoyed it and found it to be well written and entertaining. It was a smart, surprising film and the actors all did a good job. My rating is an 8/10.

Murder party
Haunt
The mansion
Terrifier
Sheitan
The manson family

reply

terrifier is great fun. good call. murder party too...

reply

I can't believe these are 1990 or after.. I haven't heard of any of them.

I don't think I'd consider Valentine a B-movie. What would a low budget be? Valentine was 29 million.

If we are solely going on budgets, I'd have to give it to The Blair Witch Project (1999). Although I more consider movies made by Asylum, or the SyFy channel to be more B movies.....

It's so subjective and confusing...LOL. Maybe I shouldn't be drinking.

I think perhaps Slither (2006)
Eight Legged Freaks (2002)
Tremors (1990)
Tucker and Dale vs Evil (2010)
Hobo with a Shotgun (2011)
Piranha 3D (2010)
Bubba Ho-Tep (2002)

reply

I was going on b movie..To me that fits your list. It doesn't have anything to do with money. I think you got it, piranha 3d, great, Tremors, great. I do think the older a movie is the more there is a cushion for its stupidity. You see something like The Incredible Shrinking Women 1981 and some how nostalgia gives it a boost up.. But Hackers 1995 doesn't get as much leeway.

reply

I wasn't sure if Planet Terror (2007) would count. It's grown on me since first viewing.

I also really liked Odd Thomas (2013) but again not sure.

Oooh. and John Dies at the End (2012)

reply

For me when you say b movie you should be slightly embarrassed to admit it.. So I love the movie Neverending Story.. Am I proud of that no.. Its kind of embarrassing.

reply

I am not ashamed to say that I love The Neverending Story. That movie was such a part of my childhood.

reply

Ok I'm going to my Imdb movie list.. I'll be back with some embarrassing movies.

reply

I love so many bad movies, but I'm never embarrassed to mention them. I think I also like some really good movies as well, so it sort of evens out.

reply

Embarrassing movies I rated 9 out of 10 on IMDB Heavyweights, Let it Ride, Hoodwinked, Sleepy Hollow, Death Becomes her, Girl House..I don't know where that came from but a good movie.

reply

I haven't seen Heavyweights or Girl House, but I like all the others.

reply

They're very different.. Heavyweights is Goonies and Girl House is random good horror movie.

reply

I rated The neverending story 9/10. And I’m a professional. You can rest easy.

Dead Snow (Død snø) (2009)

reply

Starry Eyes (2014)
Alyce (2011)
Contracted (2013)
Nina Forever (2015)

reply

starry eyes is really good. streaming on shudder, currently, at least in canada.

reply

Popcorn (1991) is a decent B horror movie that manages a slightly different and funny take on the slasher genre. It got overlooked then and is sort of forgotten now.

reply

How would you rate it out of ten?

reply

I'd say a solid 7/10. But I'm probably a bit generous with that sort of movie because i watch a lot of horror. A low budget B movie that sets itself apart from the rest, even if it has some flaws.

reply

A lot of horror huh?

Ever seen these:

Murder party
Haunt
The mansion
Terrifier
Sheitan
The manson family
?

reply

No. I've seen some obscure/foreign stuff like the Japanese House (1977) and Messiah of Evil but I've missed those.

I'll have to look for them.

reply

I love south Korean and Japanese Horror movies.

R U down with my boy Takashi Miike?

reply

I haven't seen a huge amount of Japanese horror. I did see Audition though. Scarred me for life. LOL.

reply

Popcorn is on my list of personal favorite 90s horror flicks too. Recommended.

reply

Ozzy Ozbourne has just put out a new video...….

reply

reply
