Have you noticed girls care more about height than looks?

They will choose tall over handsome almost every time. Unless he’s ugly.

I wonder why, what evolutionary advantage does height provide in choosing a potential mate? The only thing I’ve read is that it is related to perceived size and protecting the offspring, but this is obviously not true considering height provides little advantage in terms of physical strength/prowess.

Edit: I’m 5’9”, which is taller than most girls but still not quite tall enough to meet many girls’ standards.

Not sure about that. Tom Cruise and Davy Jones were pretty popular with the ladies, for example.

Yeah, I think their appeal to women had something to do with being stars in the first place.

If women didn't find them attractive, they would have been character actors.

There could be other reasons.

Of course they haven’t, just like I would never say to a girl “I’m sorry but you’re too fat to meet my standards.” But it’s blatantly obvious.

I’m not saying it accounts for 100% of the instances of women not being interested but it’s a solid majority.

My best friend just barely cracks 5ft and the boy is drowning in vagene at all times. Can't get away from the stuff really. He's a completely genuine person and doesn't give 2/5 of a metric shit about such matters as these. The more you buy into balogna like this, the more it will be a factor for you.

I understand it’s not a deal breaker, as I stated in my list confidence trumps all but he’s the exception

He's not someone who exudes what you'd expect confidence to look like either. He's completely unassuming. True confidence is what remains when you're genuinely done caring about the game whatsoever and are instead focused only on living 100% authentically, rather than confidence being something you can strategically add to yourself. It's his honestly genuine energy and approach to life that people find attractive.

It's because seeing dozens of topics like these has conditioned me to expect that some people have a hard time noticing patterns after the first hundred or so instances. Obviously you aren't the case, so a tip of my hat to ye.

You're putting way too much stock into this stuff. Just work on being the best that you can be and not comparing yourself to others. It can give you a false sense of superiority or inferiority, depending on what you see out there.

The real reason for this is that if the guy is tall enough, the girl can't see his face clearly from such a distance, so it doesn't matter if he's ugly lol.
