Looking for your favorite moments featuring a character who's facial expression says more than words could.

1) Rocky (1976) - Apollo's face in the 14th round after Rocky manages to stand up after he thinks he knocked him out. The deflated look he has is a subtle moment that really raised it to the next level.

4. Goodfellas (1990) - Paulie: "Tommy's a bad seed, what am I supposed to do--shoot him? Sonny: "It wouldn't be a bad idea" Paulie gives Sonny a dead-fish-eye look that says, you shouldn't have said that.

6. Rocky III - Paulie's expression when he's drunk in the arcade game place. Laughing at a pinball machine
7. The Shining (1980) - Jack's thousand yard stare out the window, among many other moments.
8. The Godfather II - Michael Corleone's gradually stunned and distraught expression while overhearing his brother Fredo bragging about his experiences with a mobster he had claimed to not know. The revelation meant Fredo had been the inside man in an assassination attempt on him.

I know this is late but...

Boogie Nights(1997) When Dirk and his buddies are over at the drug dealers house there is about a 30 second shot of Dirk's face with a strange smile. It's like he realizes he is on a ride and can't get off.
