Not really convincing. It looks more like Holland and Downey each made love and had a baby with Fox and Lloyd respectively.

At best it looks like some kind of homage skit rather than a remake. Unless they plan on remaking it scene by scene which is even more pointless than a normal remake.

The fact that it still doesn't happen today is probably because someone already created a time traveling DeLorean and prevented it from happening.
